Folks,

I've just entered into a business relationship with Matt Woodward/Borderland Adventures. Matt hunts desert mulies, coues deer, antelope and elk. He has recently acquired two muzzleloader tags on a ranch in NM's Unit 13 that produces some very big bulls. Reasonable expectations should be for 330B&C-370B&C with the ranch producing several 400 class bulls in the past. This year they did 9 bow hunts over two weeks in Sept with 100% success and an average of 350 B&C. This is pretty incredible.

Next year there will be 11 hunts sold and only 2 will be muzzleloader. The other 9 hunts will be archery. After the archery hunts there will be about a month break with no hunting on the ranch and then the 2 muzzleloader hunts will start Oct 15-20.

The lodge is a 4 star 6,000 square foot affair with private rooms and baths. It will be exclusively ours during the hunt.

The ranch is 30,000 acres of very gentle terrain with a good road system making for a good spot and stalk hunt but it is not a butt buster.

Sadie and I are going but since Sadie does not shoot a second hunter or a couple would be perfect. We'd have the whole ranch, lodge etc to ourselves. Sadie and I would enjoy having another hunter or couple share this unique opportunity with us.

I've been lookng for an elk hunt just like this every since I moved down to the Lower 48 from Alaska. Big bulls, no high fence, no horses, great weather and a hunt that Sadie and I can both physically enjoy.
