John Blackwell/Faawnie Mountain Outfitters has been in business 42 years in B.C. hunting over 900,000 acres of prime black bear and moose country 120 miles SW of Prince George.

Hunt is all spot and stalk conducted by cruising the old logging roads or glassing from vantage points. No hours trying to sit still in a tree stand on this one.

Bears are plentiful and you should see several good boars on your hunt. This is a great hunt to do 2x1 for husband/wife/son/daughter or a good buddy as you should both have a good opportunity at a nice bear.

Camp is a tented affair on the lake shore with showers and nice food.

Once your bears are in the salt the outfitter will fly you to Moose Lodge for some spectacualr rainbow fishing if time allows. I might add a couple of extra days to make sure I got to fish. 5-8 pound rainbows are not uncommon in these pristine lakes.

Pick up is in Prince George that can be reached via Vancouver with daily flights.
