Friends, I've personally spent over 70 days chasing coastal brownies in Alaska. This is definitely one of the best areas, as it pertains to hunting the Alaskan Brown Bear!

This exclusive guide use area is located in the Preserve of the Katmai National Park. This area has an incredible bear density, and some very big bears. This Preserve called Sugarloaf, consists of 220 continuous square miles. The entire southern and eastern boundary of the Sugarloaf area borders the Katmai National Park.

With a limited number of permits, we focus on 9'6" or better boars, with ten foot bears possible, but patience is the name of the game.

Hunt Dates:
Option 1: May 9th - May 20th
Option 2: May 21st - June 1st
