CougarzDoug,
Could you perhaps choose another photo sharing site to display your success photos? I tried to open the photobucket link but it didn't work. Photobucket is holding them hostage.

BuffHunter63Nice looking bruins and 100% success rate is mighty tempting, but I can't see paying more than $2500.00 for a black bear hunt, but I'm cheap (and have a beautiful, blond black bear rug on my wall). LOL

COYOTE HUNTERFor the quality of bears being taken on this hunt I see it as a great value, especially the 2x1.

Understood. This is no baited hunt that is for sure. No more than 2 people in camp each week unless a group wants to come and then it is only them in camp.

Kevin is dealing with the early winter like the rest of us. Fall season was good but looking forward to cat season now.

FourtyonesixThere’s coastal black bear hunts upwards of $10,000 these days. But your mostly paying to keep the outfitters boat/yacht full of fuel. These prices are more than reasonable.

CougarzI agree with that.

Plus you have choices on how you want to hunt. Not many places can do that and it's in some very beautiful country.

SliderUnless the user deleted their photobucket account, every old photobucket image is still linked on this website (and every other place on the internet).
There are Free Add-Ons available for both Chrome and Firefox, which will let you choose to see the original photo instead of the "ransom block" image, throughout the Internet.
For Chrome - chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... aedg?hl=en
Then search for PHOTOBUCKET Hotlink Fix
for Firefox - addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/photobucket-fix/
With this, you can see everyone's old photobucket images in context on every thread and every website.
Uploading the patch, you're not doing photobucket any favors, giving them any money, agreeing with them - all you're doing is restoring your old knowledge base to where it was before the photobucket ransom
If you want to remove the add on later, go to Add-ons/Extensions and remove or disable it, or with Chrome, just right-click on your toolbar.

NakihunterMy only Canadian hunt was off William's lake at Tinmusket creek in 2007. Shot a really nice colour phase bear right on dark just 10 minutes before it got dark - on the last day.
Saw 4 other bears and missed an easy one on first day.
Saw bull moose too

DCS MemberSeems like a great deal and not a baited Hunt. The fishing is a nice bonus to add, especially with the success rate. What are the typical import clearing rates? If mentioned, I apologize.

Marcus,
It's been a few years since I hunted with Doug but, there was no import clearance rate or fees. I brought the frozen hide, skull and frozen loin and tenderloin through customs (all under 50 lbs). There were no problems. Never even had to open my bag to confirm the contents. I think they just ran it through the x-ray machine. The best part was claiming my bags. I think it went on last since it was checked. It was the first bag that came on the carousel when I got home.
Fishing. It was awesome. Never caught so many native trout at one time. Fished for about 8 hours over a two day span. Doug and I easily caught 40 or so combined. I'm thinking that number is on the low side. All catch and release with barbless hooks. Probably missed 10 plus due the hook.
