Had some inquiries about bringing a non-hunting guest on this hunt so maybe others are wondering the same thing. This can be done for $1050 plus charter cost of $950.

The hunt can be done from a remote wall tent camp or base camp. At base camp, the hunter and guest will have their own cabin.

The outfitter is going to begin actively marketing this hunt today so if interested, please call (814-594-5870) or email.

Thank you

since the charter plane is a charter, why are there 2 costs, one for hunter one for observer? shouldn't they be able to fly in on the same charter

Butch:

Yes both people can fly on the same plane. The $950 cost is an average cost per hunter based on four hunters being on board. It is a lot easier to set the cost as a constant than to charge varying amounts depending on the actual number on board. It is fairer, and simpler, this way versus charging someone a lot more if by chance the plane has less hunters on board.

The reality of it is the outfitter is subsidizing the cost even when four hunters are on board.

Good question and thanks for the inquiry.

The September 18-28, 2009 hunt can also be a 2x1 hunt versus 1x1. Both hunters would have to book together. Cost is $4900 per hunter.
