LabmanI would also be intereted in hearing about the cull elephant option.

infinitoSure!
Elephants break out of the Kruger, Elephant populations on the BIG private reserves need to be managed, or elephants come through from Botswana and or Zimbabwe.
An example is 200 elephants that came through to SA during this last week in the north of our country. Land owners apply for and get a DCA permit, (Damage causing animal) We have two permits to shoot bulls now, but they do not carry CITES tags.
Also the cull elephants in the private reserves. We are selling for $12,000.00 Bulls ussualy are in the 30lbs range.
Same with Hippo. We are flooded by a supply of Hippo throughout the northern and eastern parts of Limpopo and Mpumalanga. Prices again from about $5,000.00.
If there are CITES quota available in the province we apply for an export tag and you can take your trophy home. Some of them you just cannot do that.
So what I was trying to say is, bring some extra cash along on this PG hunt, and you will get an oppertunity to hunt some DG at affordable rates while on this PG deal. There are no extra cost, you just pay the fee for the DG animal as per the above.
