Aaron NeilsonColorado Trophy Mule Deer - 2020
We've just been given a unique opportunity this fall to hunt 2 trophy mule deer on a private ranch in central Colorado.
The outfitter has been leasing this ranch for several years now, but the landowner has never allowed him to hunt during any of the rifle seasons...its been archery / muzzy only. The rancher has always kept the rifle hunting for only him and his brother...but just today he's agreed to let us have the rifle hunts for this fall. We are allotted 2 rifle hunts...no other rifle hunting will take place on the ranch the entire season.
Hunters will be looking for 175" - 190" type bucks, with the chance for something bigger. The landowner himself has a wall full of 180" - 195" bucks they've taken themselves from the property. We'll hunt the 2nd week of November...it'll be prime!
Dates: Nov. 7 - 13 (7 day rifle hunt)
Price: $8,500 each / 2x1 guided (looking for a group of 2)
Price includes the landowner vouchers which you will receive directly from the landowner, guide, food & lodging
Price does not include Colorado deer license / habitat stamp
Again...our temporary deposit policy will apply due to current pandemic circumstances. We will hold the deposit in our account until such time as the "all clear" is posted for travel, entry into the state, and legal hunting is allowed. Should any of these issues prohibit you from doing the hunt...the deposit will be refunded in full.

wesley timmermanAaron,
Having only hunt mule deer in Sonora Mexico with a high rack and some glassing, how is the hunt conducted? what is the typical length of shot??
Thanks

Aaron NeilsonSir...all the hunting is done via glassing, then spot / stalk. Its difficult to say what shot distances will be...I'd figure 100 - 400 yards on average!
