Offering a very good hunt for a crack at Monster black bear in Alberta for 2021.

With 5,000 square miles of territory the outfitter has some great bear hunting available. He shoots some real monster bears as can be seen from the photographs. He is very strict about shooting trophy quality bears and will not let you shoot a small bear. So if you are looking for a quality bear hunt, this is it! Color phase bears are also available in this area as can be seen in the photographs.

You will see on average 30+ bears in the week you will hunt, so plenty of opportunity to select a really big bear.

2nd bear $1,500
tags and licence $200

Fly into Grand Prairie and spend the night. Next day you will drive to camp.

How is the hunting done?

It is a baited hunt.

How long are the hunts? What’s all included with the price listed for one bear? Getting a general idea and will be at DSC, so I’m sure we’ll chat more soon.

Sorry forgot to mention the hunt schedule is arrive Grand Prairie on a Saturday and overnight. Sunday you will be picked up and driven to the lodge. Hunt Sunday afternoon to Friday. Fly out on Saturday.

The Lodge is comfortable consisting of clients cabins, bath house, home cooked meals, satellite TV, Wifi, etc.

You can take the trophies back with you to the US.

The outfitter is very strict in terms of the kind of bears he will allow a client to shoot. A simple rule of thumb as seen in these pics, is that when a black bear stands broadside its back has to be as high or higher than the bait barrel.This will ensure that it is a big bear and definitely not a sow.

While any outfitter will be happy to give you this advice and hopes that you will shoot such a bear. I have yet to come across one that will tell you not to shoot a smaller bear!

There are many Black bear hunts starting from $1,500+, but chances of shooting a biggy is rare on such a hunt.
