Looking for a fall black bear hunt for this year in Maine, NH or VT..

Anyone have any FIRSTHAND and recent experience with an outfit they can recommend?

Frank if you want to go in Maine give Matt Morgan at Allagash Wilderness camps a call. (207) 398-4456. Tell him Tony Piscopo sent you. If you want to go in NH I have couple friends that guide for bear but the laws there are screwy and they can only take a handfull of bear hunters a year. I will get in touch with them if you would like and see if they can accommodate you.One guy has great success but he has a group from OHIO that usually takes all his spots.

We had a GREAT time even though it was unseasonably hot and there was a bumper crop of berries for them to hit instead of the bait

My bear squared at 6'
FIL's bear was a touch smaller
Dad got skunked
