GunsmokeAdventuresBuffalo hunt Zimbabwe - 2 x 1
Due to a cancellation I have an opening available for a 10 day 2x1 buffalo hunt in the Gonarezhou area of Zimbabwe.
60000 ha concession with no village or cattle to interfere with wildlife and with 35km open boundary to Gonarezhou national park
Quality genetics of buff in the lowveld and the abundance of animals migrating out of the park consistently produce buff in the mid 40's with real opportunity for buff in the high 40'
This hunt is available mid September 2025 and priced to sell with a discounted Day rate of USD 1000 for Buffalo/plains game
trophy fee for buffalo USD 6000
extra costs are as follows
2% Government Levy of total Daily Rates
4% Government Levy of total Trophy Fees
Field Preparation, Documentation, Transport of trophies to Taxidermist in Zimbabwe:
Buffalo Hunts USD 350.00 per Hunter
WIFI Fee USD 20.00 per night (shared by group)
Road Transfer from Harare USD 1 000.00 (shared by group)
Weapon Hire USD 20.00 per day
Bullets USD 10.00 per bullet

A question on the offer - day fees USD 1.000,- and trophy fee at USD 6-000,- I follow. But what is
quote:
Buffalo Hunts USD 350.00 per Hunter
or is that for the trophy prep and transport to taxidermist a fee of USD 350,- per hunter for the animal?

llamapackerI am surprised that some operators still want to charge a daily fee for Wi-Fi. With Starlink in almost every camp, it seems a strange fee to add on. We all know the PH and camp staff will be using Wi-Fi anyway, and Starlink is billed monthly.
I acknowledge that operators are free to set their charges however they wish. It wouldn't stop me from booking this hunt but makes me wonder what other "extras" will be tacked on during the course of the hunt. I take it as insight into the business practices of the operator.

Baker458Hey Barry, nice offer amigo!!
A little over $17k per buff, in an area that is stated to consistently produce mid-40s buffalo, seems like a very good offer for a couple guys who want to target really big buff.
If anyone here is unfamiliar with Barry and his outfit Gunsmoke Adventures, my buddy and I hunted Aussie Buff with him as our guide in 2019, after which he booked us on a Zim Ele hunt in 2021. He's as good on the "Booking Agent organization" side as any agent I've booked with.

GunsmokeAdventuresyes the $350 is the charge for preparing and transport of the trophies to the taxidermist this is inclusive of the buffalo and any other plains game taken

GunsmokeAdventuresThanks David !
hope all is well with you. Definitely good buffalo to be had here. Last hunt i did myself in this concession was with my brother.
We both shot 43" bulls. Bulls of 45-48 were seen but without a shot opportunity
