Horseback Hunt in Waterberg Mountains

As mentioned in the African Hunting Forum Chris Troskie Safaris now offer horseback hunting directly from their own property – Sabrisa in South Africa’s Limpopo Province. As a special opening offer for our new venture we are offering one hunt at a specially reduced price to AR members.

Information regarding the hunt:

Hunting will be conducted from horseback on well-trained horses – suitable even for beginners. There will be no shooting from horseback, but horses will be used to access areas – previously inaccessible in the Waterberg Mountains of Limpopo Province and giving hunters an opportunity to get close to exceptional trophy quality Kudu, Bushbuck, Klipspringer, Mountain Reedbuck, Bushpig , Duiker and Grysbok that naturally occurs in the area. Although there are game fences on some of the borders of the property, the area is largely unfenced. As such all the game found on the property is free ranging and no game animals were introduced into the area.

Included:

• Trophy Fee for 1 X Kudu Bull
• Value Added Tax
• Transportation between Oliver Tambo Int Airport and Hunting area
• 7 X Full Hunting Days on 1X1 basis
• Accommodation, All meals and beverages (incl. alcoholic beverage in moderation)
• Daily Laundry Service
• Use and services of hunting vehicles, horses, trackers, skinners and camp staff
• Recovery, Skinning, Field Preparation, Marking and Salting of Trophies
• Transportation of trophies to Dipping/Shipping Agent or SA-based Taxidermist
• Hunting licenses and permits

Not included:

• Trophy Fees for any other game wounded or killed that is/are not included in the package
• Taxidermy / Dipping Packing Fees and shipping charges
Other game in our areas may be hunted and paid for as per our 2010 price list which can be found here.

Price of package: $3,999.00
The regular price of such a hunt would be $5,534.00 so this is a one-time offer for one hunting client only! Observers are welcome and will be quoted for at preferred rates. Please contact us for more information.
