There are a few companies , i believe 5 , the one i know of because i had a friend hunting there in 2011 , is called Mutemba Safaris , 125.000 acres , 38 kms along Gonarezhou. They are not coutadas and not very well known with few quota.
He shot a 45 pound elephant , he was happy.
Depending on what you are hunting i am sure your friend will find better places to hunt in Moz in Niassa , Tete area or the Marromeu complex but if the price is the most important ....

Larry..it is the National Park in the Southeast Corner of Zimbabwe with a long eastern border with Mozambique.. There are operations that border the park on the Mozambique side. Well known for big elephant, good buffalo, nyala, kudu and some smaller antelope.

This is the new company of Juan pace. Obviously he had to change his company name because he has screwed too many guys with his old company shangwari.

Sorry to hear that. I know that Pete delayed the start of safaris in Moz due to the RENAMO incidents. If he pulled out all together there must be bigger issues (poaching?).

It would seem Mozambique is experiencing problems. However Pete moved all his clients to the Kafue and with excellent results I might add.
