Aaron NeilsonNorthern Saskatchewan Black Bear - 2017
Located in remote northern Saskatchewan (Wheat King Adventures) has exclusive outfitting access to over 540 square miles of trophy black bear hunting each spring. Their operation runs on “quality not quantity” which in return gives you the best possible chance at taking a trophy bruin and making your stay as comfortable as possible.
This is a baited hunt, where you will see plenty of bears throughout your trip. With some patience, 6 1/2 foot square bears are normal. Clients are encouraged to hunt mature boars which will generally square well over this mark and have larger skulls. They typically harvest several black and color phase bears that square over 7 ft.
The hunt includes 6 nights and 6 hunting days (arrive / depart Sunday) and includes meals, lodging in wall tents with hot showers and guiding on a 2x1 basis. Northern Pike and Walleye fishing is great in this area so clients looking to do a little fishing are encouraged to bring a rod!
