It is my pleasure to present to my friends on AR with the annual Infinito Safaris/AR Lucky draw hunt, number 7.

We were blessed in 2013 with a fantastic year and a full season. Joel Blankenship who won the 2013 Infinito/AR hunt, did very well and his report can be found here on the forum.

This is year number six that we are presenting this great prize to our friends that want to hunt Africa, but are waiting for a change to be kicked over the edge, or take a good deal when they see one!

Again Infinito Safaris will make a donation of 10% on all the trophy fees that are hunted above and beyond the prize, to a charitable cause of the hunters’ choice. This cause must be AR related.

Herewith the details as follow:

Now, the most important things to enter this draw is the following:

You must be able to undertake this hunt in 2014
You must be a new client to Infinito Safaris. Sorry guys, our friends that have hunted with us before are not eligible for this hunt.

Your prize includes:
• 7 Days (1 arrival, 5 hunting and 1 departure)
• Full services of licensed PH, hunting vehicles and staff
• Full accommodation and board (alcohol in moderation)
• Delivery of your trophies to our taxidermy
• Daily laundry services
• Skinning and field preparations of your trophies
• Import of your rifle(s)

Your prize excludes:
• Airfare
• Trophy fees
• Taxidermy cost
• Gratuities
• International calls and faxes
• Personal, travel and trophy insurance
Pick up and drop off at the airport $500.00

You get 1 Impala non trophy and 1 non trophy warthog included in the prize

**** Night hunts will incur a once of $50.00 per night hunt extra charge****

This hunt will be conducted in the Limpopo province of South Africa.

Observers welcome at $150.00 per day
Extra hunting days for the competition winner:
$350.00 per day
Extra Hunters welcome at:
1 Hunter extra $300.00 per day
2 Hunters + $280.00 per day with a maximum of 4 hunters

Dates to be discussed with Infinito Safaris to suit your needs and open gaps in our Diary.
Take note that I might not be able to guide this hunt myself, but competent PH’s Dries or Armand will be your host.

To enter you must please state:
That you are older than 21 (import of rifle into South Africa)
That you are an AR member
That you have the passion to hunt ethically in Africa
You are not a South African citizen
You do not mind hunting in mountainous terrain
What animals you would like to hunt (we have strict quota’s on the properties we hunt, and we need to make sure that your needs can met)
What your weapon of choice is (Rifle or Bow)



How it works:
You know you can come and want to come. You have the money to pay for the trip. You can find time in your diary to come. You have spoken to the powers be (mum, dad, wife, girlfriend, kids, the dog, the guys at the golf club)…….ok…now send an e-mail to:

We will make the draw like last year and inform the forum of the winner. Entries will close on 31 December 2013.

You must book your trip within 1 week of the announcement. A small deposit will be required to lock the dates in.

A hunt with Charl is an experience to savor!

I won second prize and hunted with charl last year.

First of all it was an awesome hunt and charl is a true gentleman and a great PH.

Second I owe Charl a huge apology for not posting a hunt report as I promised. I am going to try and write it on my flight Thursday.

However charl went out of his to do an abbreviated hunt for me as I was already booked a few hours away for this year. The areas he hunts are excellent and we saw a lot of game including one really monster Kudu and Charl did put me on a lot of game. Unfortunately I some how forgot everything I know about shooting and missed a LOT but I did bag a very respectable mountain reedbuck.

So guys enter this hunt. It is a great time with a fantastic PH who will put you on the game.

I am looking forward to going back and hunting with him for a much more extended hunt when I can get back

The proceeds of our donation for an AR related charitable cause, of the two 2013 hunts, will be handed over at the 2014 SCI convention to Mr. Anthony Howland.

I have not been able to get hold of him, but in failing so, will present the same to Messrs. CMS so that they can get it to Anthony. I trust the buggers somewhat.....
