Flights need to be booked to Dar es salaam International Airport (JKNI). If you arrive on late afternoon or evening flight you overnight in Dar es salaam and transfer the next day. If you arrive on a morning or midday
flight you can still Charter directly to camp. Air Charter Transfer from Dar es Salaam to camp on Cessna Caravan $7,200 – $7,500 if not shared with others

OR

Scheduled flight to Mbeya on Air Tanzania plus a 250km/155 miles drive to camp $400 per trip. If you have a bit of time, then the drive option is the way to go and really quite reasonable.


Taking guns is easy and 1 rifle is included but if you wish to avoid the hassle - Firearms rental $60 per day and $10 per bullet.

At the top in your pricing you state it is a package price that appears to include two buffalo and at the bottom you state it does not include trophy fees. Does this price include buff trophy fee or not?

I'm reading Arjun's ad but I don't see where the package includes 2 buffalo.

It is 10 full hunting days and NO the buffalo is not included in the cost of the hunt. Trophy fees is payable on any animals taken, wounded or lost.

That area has good lion, leopard and sable too, big sable. You can hunt buffalo in the rain forest as well and that's a cool hunt if you feel like climbing.

I just got off the phone with the outfitter and he says that on most days you will see 100s of buffalo at this time of the year! Goes without saying they target solid hard bossed buffs. And a good 40+ buffalo is very doable in 10 hunting days. He also said he would throw in the transfer to camp (the road part of it).

I really hope someone can do this hunt, its a super area in Western Tanzania.
