LivingTheDream1This is so cool! Dream hunt, hopefully someone books it and posts a report!

M.ShyBe even more cool if the hunt was with porters on foot or on horses but I assume the logistics are pretty tough to do that
Great offer though
Never been lost, just confused here and there for month or two

nmhunter4lifeI was just there this past fall. It is a great adventure.
The helicopter just gets you into the hunting area. Usually 2-3 days or so from that point on foot with porters and mules until you get to your hunting block. That is how we did it anyways.
It sounds like this offer includes the permit and helicopter charter. If so, this is a great price.

I saw your report. Looks like you had a great hunt.
Hunting in Nepal is one of the best (in the sense of most adventurous) hunts there is.
Yes that's correct it includes everything.
Porters are used in the block. Horses are also used sometimes but less common.

It's called Dogadi by the locals, if that helps?

dukxdogDoes the chopper drop the hunter in Dogari block?
I hunted the Barse block.
If I wasn't committed to a different hunt for these dates I would do this again.
It's a true adventure and cultural experience one should not miss!

I hunted the Barse block.
It dropps you on the edge and you need to trek about 2 days worth to get into the block/sheep country.
Thanks for the pictures! You got a great sheep.
Out of all my personal hunts, Nepal was and still is my highlight. The country is breathtaking and the people are the greatest mountain men I've ever experienced.

bwanamrmWhat a magnificent opportunity! Unfortunately I will be in South Africa... or maybe fortunately is how I should respond, my son-in-law's first safari and my thirtieth.
On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Life grows grim without senseless indulgence.
Worlds greatest hunting adventure!
