I am finally heading back to Africa next summer.
I just bought two tickets for my wife and I, business class all the way through.

20 year anneversary and taking the wife...

We have a 12 hour layover in Charles De Gaulle.

Is that enough time, to leave the airport and do any kind of sight seeing?

Anyone done this before?

Not sure that it's enough time. Too bad you can't spend at least a full day. Then you could take the bus tour of Paris. That is a great way to see Paris and you can get off and on the buses when you want to explore any of the sights.

For sure you have enough time. We had 8 hrs between flights a few years back. If I remember right, it's about a 45 min ride in a taxi depending on traffic. You should easily have 6 hrs to enjoy Paris.
