analog_peninsulaWindhoek B&B - Casa Piccolo
Based on the recommendation of a number of forum members, I stayed at Casa Piccolo while I was in Windhoek on my recent trip to Namibia.
http://casa-piccolo.com/main.htmlAll I can say is that Casa Piccolo in general and owner Claudia in particular were every bit as advertised. Everything was perfect and breakfast was excellent.
While planning my trip, which had numerous moving parts, Claudia was the only individual who replied to my emailed questions promptly, with precision and with accommodation every single time. I cannot recommend her operation highly enough.

Opus1Yep. Casa Piccolo is the best and I believe oldest pension/B&B's to stay in Windhoek. Claudia is always helpful and knows everyone in the hunting/tourism industry. If you ever find yourself in a bind, Claudia has the solution. Plus they are just down the road from Stellenbosch - the best wine and steaks in town.

Bud MeadowsAgreed with the above. Stayed here last August, and greatly enjoyed it. Already made my reservations for May 2017 with Claudia. The 2017 rate for a Single Room went up to a whopping $62.00 US. Talk about value!!

TexKDYes Claudia was super helpful and accommodating when we were looking at a longer vacation stay in Namibia in conjunction with hunting. As it was, we ended up changing our plans for the vacation part, and after the hunt we stayed a day and 2 nights in the Windhoek Hilton. But next time I will definitely try to make it a point to stay here.
