BwanaColeBA London to Windhoek
As it looks like Air Namibia is getting more unstable by the minute, I've booked BA to Windhoek via Jo'burg.
Does BA check firearms through to the SAA leg to Windhoek or will I have to check the guns into and out of SA? I have plenty of time between flights (but no overnight stay) just in case I do.
The only reason I booked BA instead of SAA is BA is the only airline with premium economy seats from London to Jo'burg. On an 11 hour flight, the extra few inches of legroom is definitely worth the extra dosh!

JaglavIn 2011 we flew London - Joberg - Windhoek on BA connecting to Comair and had to claim our rifles in Joberg and recheck them after going through SAPS. I expect that since you are transfering to SAA you will have to claim and recheck as they are in different airline alliances and even when it was completely BA we still had to claim and recheck.
