butchlocgot an idea
how do you guys suppose this would work:
to safeguard valuables in luggage. In your main duffel sew in a loop or ring or the like way on the inside. then take a small bag and put your stuff in it. TSA lock the small bag, but regular lock it onto the ring inside. then wrap some clothes around the little bag. TSA the big bag. The general idea being that TSA would get into the little bag if necessary, but a bad guy would take so long to get into it that he wouldn't. Good idea?? bad idea??

craneSomething like this would be a great idea. Most of this type of crime is a "slash and grab", where the opportunity for the theif is limited by time or camera angles. Any little thing that would slow them down would help.

MARK H. YOUNGButch,
To expand on your idea what if you just fastened a small locking box right to the bottom of a rolling duffel on the inside?
