Forcing business travelers to check in a laptop would have a real impact of business travel demand.

Capt. PurvisIt was on National News last night. They are going to ban anything electrical the size of a laptop. The UK and USA stopped an attack where the terrorist had a bomb hidden in a computer battery.
I would guess this would include all camera and drone batteries.

SliderApparently it's the size of the battery. They need room for 4 oz of explosives. Computers can be on the plane but it must be in checked baggage. If it's detonated in the cargo area it won't bring down the plane. You can still carry on a cell on the plane because their isn't enough room in it for explosives.

SaeedSeveral European countries are not following this.
I think if you avoid London you should be fine.

Do you believe that a explosion in the cargo hold won't bring the Plane down or is that sarcasm?
