I tagged the weekend onto a NY work trip last week and visited the Beretta store on Madison Ave. What an awesome store - great clothing, great books, an awesome gun room with some stunning shotguns and some excellent trophies and photos on the walls from all over the globe!

If anyone is in Manhattan, I can only recommend it.

Sadly my loving wife was with me and stopped me buying a Beretta lion print T shirt at USD 98,-. Thank god one of us has some sense!

On the Namibia side, in 4 weeks my wife and I plus two other hunting couples and great friends from Germany and the US are off to Namibia for a week of hunting and wing shooting! A few days in the Kalahari out of a tented camp and then a few days hunting plains game and wing shooting (sandgrouse and duck) based out of a lodge some two hours from Windhoek.

A table at Joe's Beerhouse in Windhoek has already been booked for the Saturday evening when we arrive !
