Just got the tix through Steve Turner at Travels with Guns on Emirates Airlines, Birmingham/Houston/Dubai/Lusaka/Harare for next July. My son will get to dip a toe in the Persian Gulf. Then on to Nuanetsi. Yay!

Congratulations I have booked 3 times through Steve at Travel with guns For the SF Dubai Harare trip using Air Emirates. The best way to get To Africa with guns in my opinion. The layover in Dubai was great. One of the best Buffet I have ever had rooms clean and comfortable . Breaking up the trip at Dubai made the long trip bearable. Have nothing but good things about Emirates. I do not know if you will have time to dip a toe in the Persian Gulf though. You get there late and leave early . Your plane will arrive in Harare about 510 and by the time you get out of the AP it will be after 6 so you might consider an over night at the Sunbird Guest House and get an early refreshed start in the morning. Currently in Dubai airport waiting for my flight to Entebbe. I can say hands down my Emirates flight from London to Dubai is the best flight I've ever taken and I fly quite a bit.

Also booked through Steve at Travel With Guns and no problems whatsoever, including a stopover for a day in London to break the trip up.
