South Africa/Zim Via France with Guns

I am booked to head to Zimbabwe next summer on a leopard hunt. I am thinking of flying into Paris ahead of my hunt with my wife and spending a few days before heading onto Zim.

Does anyone have info if one can fly into Paris with firearms ahead of time?

You can take your guns with you and store them at your hotel. In my experience France is pretty gun friendly.

You might get a reading on what their rules of transit are for for Guns going to Zimbabwe. I know that England will not let you transit with fire arms if you are going to Zimbabwe. I think that the EU also has a rule to this effect. Hope fully your travel agent can help you with this
