AntonioJNB on transit
Next month I will be changing planes from Delta to SAA on the same day with a stopover of 2 hours in JoBurg on my way to Harare and traveling without guns.
Can I stay only within the transit area of JNB airport or will I be forced to enter South Africa?
Will I need a visa?
Thanks in advance...
Antonio
Antonio,
As long as you have checked your bags to HRE and stay within the transit area you would not need a visa

shakariWith just a 2 hour layover, you wouldn't have time to enter and leave RSA anyway. If you need somewhere to take a stress break you might like to go to the Premier Lounge. Cost is something like US$20-25 per person and they have comfortable lounges & furniture, showers, free drinks and food and even a smoking room.
To find it, stand with the passport control desks on your right and walk to the end of the public lounge. At the end, you'll see an escalator on your right. Go up tp the first floor and then turn 180 degrees to the left and it'll be straight ahead of you.
Hope that helps.

AntonioThanks Kathi
Can I check baggage through to Harare with Delta if I bought Delta to Johannesburg and the connecting flight to Harare with SAA?
If I can't will I have to get a SA visa?
