Anyone having problems flying United to Joberg out of Newark, NJ? Many flights cancelled or delayed. The problem is ongoing.

I saw on the news yesterday that United was going to cease flights to/from Newark. No idea how true that might be.

Looks like they’ve cut 35 flights a day, not completely leaving.

It doesn't appear JNB route will be axed, mostly domestic routes.

Went to and from 3 weeks ago no problems..Had a new guy at ATF/customs that was making a big deal about a 4457 that had been collected in SA and the older guy did not have a copy with him...So I guess when you register it it is not in any computer..He had the guy go back home and re-register it and mail him a copy?? I had already gone through but he had me wait because they wanted all of us to go to the terminals with escorts at the same time ...cost me about 1/2 hour..jm

Daughters family on the Newark to JNB flight with a group of 12, had the flight canceled while they waited to board. Never again!
