Dubai Airport Is Almost Back To Capacity
Hopefully this is a good sign we might be back to normal!

Went through it 2 days ago coming from Europe.

Very busy, and had to take a test on arrival, still got out within 20 minutes of landing!

Well, compared to Heathrow, they were quite efficient.

If they put any effort in it, they might make it.

But, I guarantee you it take until after the next ICE AGE before that shithole in Europe - Heathrow ever makes it!

With all due respect, Saeed, (a phrase which always precedes extreme rudeness!) I can't imagine that anyone with your family name is ever going to have too many hassles at Dubai airport! I have to agree though that it is a very fine transport hub.
Given that Heathrow has it's failings it is still a model of efficiency and humanity compared with LAX. Americans can have no conception of what the experience is like for non-citizens.
Every one will have different experiences of airports depending on their nationality and expectations, social standing, wealth and attitudes.

Gotta say, when we transmitted LHR traveling from Rome to Atlanta in October, it was a model of inefficiency. We had a 4 1/2 hours layover and figured to relax in the BA business lounge. We barely made our outbound flight due to bullshit, nonsense paperwork and extremely long lines…….

You were very lucky!

I have heard people standing in immigration lines for several hours!

. . . although I believe the travel restrictions to African countries have just been extended by Emirates.

I've been through Heathrow many times without any issues but I'd recommend avoiding it until this Covid biz is over.
