To those of you contemplating a trip to Zim this year and are having trouble finding acceptable/affordable flights, Emirates has some really reasonable fares from DFW (and other airports)to Harare booking now thru late September. Economy less than $1000.00 and business class from $4052.00, both of these have a 13 hour layover in Dubai. Other flights were available at higher fares and flights are not daily (at least out of DFW).

I just did this itinerary (but LAX- Dubai- HRE) to hunt with SSG & it was smooth travel. Slept in the transit hotel in Dubai and that worked well.

Covid stuff was simple, we were asked for our test results before boarding in LAX, and right when we arrived in Harare.

My daughter and I had at least an empty seat in between us on every flight, and Dubai- HRE we each had our own row.
