SaeedThe Joys Of Modern Air Travel
Did they not workout how many passengers are on??07 September 2018, 19:20
BuffHunter63Like many things today, travel for the really rich has become over-the-top luxurious, but for the rest of us it has become less comfortable and convenient.

Johnny_RevolverWhen I was a kid we all believed the toilet on a plane was like the one on a train, a pipe going down onto the tracks.
The fear was a turd falling from 20,000 feet would freeze solid and if one struck someone, it'd kill them to death.

I can assure you the toilet on a train is rather sophisticated now.
A few years back, going to the train station in the town of Huddiksvalle, Sweden, to catch it to Stockholm airport.
At the station, I tried looking for the toilets.
They were locked, and no one there!
The train came, and I had a First Class ticket - very nice, comfortable trains with wifi.
Toilet is broken.
The one in the next carriage was broken too, and both were locked!
There was no way in hell I was going to be able to hold it for 300 Kilimeters!
So I "doctored" - that is what another passenger in the same state as I was said - one door, and we managed to do our this.
The toilets were in an absolute mess.

Johnny_RevolverWith a 150 mm diameter pipe from the bowl leading down to the track, this would not have happened! So much for modern technology.
Mind you on a cold day, it was an extremely harsh reality using the toilet on a train back then.

WesheltonjI have been on a flight like that. In 1989 it was a brand new B747 from Seoul to LAX. The heads backed up and there was crap and piss all over the floors, we had to hold it after that and did not have the luxury of plastic bags.

SaeedToday’s headlines, had three planes diverted.
One with a violent passenger, two because of sickness, and finally one with a passenger dying on the flight!
Air travel almost be becoming like cruise ship with people getting sick!

Once on a BA flight from Manchester UK to Islamabad, the coach heads were overflowing, but mainly due to travelers that didn't understand how they worked. I was lucky enough to be up front, but felt badly for those that were not.
