While a Boeing Airplane.

It looks like GE is the one responsible for making and installing the parts in the engine. Boeing is doing it's test flights to make sure all is good before putting the airplane in service.

the issue was found and now it can be corrected. As testing is performed that is to find areas that need to be corrected.

I am sure that all airplane manufacturing companies have similar issues while putting airplanes in service. you just like to pick on Boeing.

I am positive that GM - Ford - Honda - Toyota - Jeep (you name the car company) all have had issues in the past and were corrected after the first year in production. Just look at all the recalls. My current pickup has had 6 recalls for issues in the first 2 years.

So issues were found and corrected, however these were found after the vehicles were sold and driven by customers.

The last thing I wish to see is another Being aircraft crash.

I do know testing is being done.

Why is it published??

Also, I don’t like what is insinuated in the article, that a specific model only uses engines from one manufacturer!

What about P&W?

What about Rolls Royce?

Only GE??

I think there should be a law against this, seas the aircraft is supposed to be marketed worldwide.

Boeing has lost an enormous amount of public goodwill after the disastrous episode of them hiding the facts on the crashes.

Tying a model to only GE engines isn’t going to do them any favors.

I travel quite bit, I travel in both Boeing and Airbus planes.

I can’t tell the difference!

First Class is First Class!

Saeed I agree,

With all the fake titanium coming out of China, I would like to know if this was another China fake-titanium made part.
