I hear Emirates now flys directly to Harare from Dubai. If so no permits or layovers.

yes ur right. im stopping in Johannesburg for a few days before continuing on to Harare.

Sounds like we will just miss. My family and I are headed over leaving Missouri on June 8. To Dallas then Dubai and on to Joburg on the 9th. Have a great trip.

enjoying a great hospitality at emirates first class lounge at dubai airport, 3 more hours before the flight to Jo Burg, cant wait to start hunting, trying to numb myself with lots of scotch. not working though :-(
