Mauser K98Atlanta to Joberg Seating Question ?
Will be flying on Delta from Atlanta to Joberg in spring of 2013.
Will be booking "Economy Comfort". I've been told to look at the "Bulk Head" row for even more leg room.
If I'm going "Economy Comfort", is this a good row to try to get?
Thanks for any info.

David CulpepperIt is a great row to have. I recently was in that row for flight from Puerto Rico and there is a lot of leg room, enough to where if you have the window seat you can get up and out of the row without disturbing the other passengers.

JudgeGI like 31A. It is a window seat and bulkhead in Comfort Economy. You get early boarding so your stuff can get in the overhead before the crowd, etc., too.
David is correct about being able to get up without bothering others and you have a place to wedge a pillow against to sleep, too. I carry a blow up one (cloth covered)because the chintzy airline ones seem to always slip down.

BiebsErnest, make sure that's the ONLY blow-up comfort item you take when you're away from home!

Use Enough GunThe bulkhead is the only way to go if you can book those seats. Usually it is easiest to get them if you are a Delta Medallion member.

Jorge400I've been leery of the bulkhead seats because of the congregation of people waiting to use the lavatory. Is this ever an issue with y'all with experience seated there?

chuckmaxmanThe restrooms are located farther back in the plane. They are at the very end of Economy Comfort.

JaglavHaven't flown Delta's Economy Comfort but I always use
www.seatguru.com to look at seats whatever class I'm flying in. It has lots of good information about different carriers and their seating plans. As mentioned earlier, 31A appears to be a good seat but look at the website as there are some reservations about other row 31 seats.

The row 31 seats that are shown to have drawbacks are the middle ones and I would think it is because of folks cutting through from one row to the other. Based on seatguru and the comments on here, I would pick 31A or 31J.
