So what's new?! They confiscated cooked salami from me, purchased in the middle east.....said no meat importation allowed.

A coupla years ago, New Zealand confiscated my sealed, commercial, U.S. export approved beef and turkey jerky. Go figure.

Yeah - we are kind of funny about shit like that....

Obviously your jerky was US Export approved but not NZ Import approved...

Most countries have import restrictions on meat products.
