UK conficating Rifles headed to Zimbabwe ?
UEG,

If you've got a surplus of vegetable peelers there's a huge market for them in the UK as self defence weapons but due to their unique laws in that regard, they can only be used on attacking vegetables such as potatoes, parsnips and carrots etc and not on attacking fruits such as oranges, lemons and limes. The reason for this law is that the UK police consider the idea of aggressive fruit, esp citrus fruit to be a bit of a pith take! rotflmo

Sorry, I did not see the bit about your Aussie friend sending it to you last year. Highly amusing anyway!

Another reason to use an experienced travel agent that works with hunters and knows african travel. I just got back frm Zim, flew BA and had no problems at all. Shawn at Gracy made it all very smooth. I would recomend using their SAPS permit service as well. The Gracy guys on the ground in JNB have it wired and you will have no problems.
