Driving across Zimbabwe I saw big rocks along the road and my PH told me they were for the monthly protest/strike. They roll them out in the road, add a few burning tires and they have an instant roadblock.

Not too sure what part of Zim your PH lives in or where he drives his clients around but I’ve never seen burning tyres etc being used as roadblocks....

Thierry, this was in 2012 driving from Bulawayo to the Omay.
