Off Soon on Long Trip to Mozambique
My hunting partner and I begin our long trip to Africa on Sept 14th. We connect with SAA at JFK on Sept 15th, stop briefly in JNB and then on to Harare on Sept 16. We are driving to Coutada 9 with Mokore Safaris to begin our PG hunt. I'm hopefully going to be successful on most of my list wiabout Matthews bow so I am really syched. We should be back tracking beginning Sept 28th and back in Anchorage on Sept 30th. Travel arrangements by Gracy and Mark Young as agent. Looking forward to a great adventure on my 2nd time to Africa.

Mozambique is a true African hunt. There are very few towns or even villages...you're really "out there". The game is natural and abundant ....you'll love it. You'll be planning a return trip before you leave.

You could have a lot of fun there stalking warthog in the rocky hills with a bow. In fact you might be able to get one by throwing a rock just about anywhere. Lots and lots of warthogs.

Beautiful place. Your trip is just about the same time as mine was last year. It goes by too fast.. enjoy every minute.

The bird sounds are fantastic, the smokey air, your feet sinking into the soft sand in the dry rivers, .....I miss it!

Grafton,

It's really a crying shame you and your wife do not appreciate Africa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dean Maki is in Coutada 9 as I write this looking for those big Livingstone's.

And if you hunt with Neil he is easy to hide behind.
