TNJohnAre SAA cabin limits restrictive
I have never had a problem in the past with carrying a briefcase and camera bag, but have not used SA Airlink or SAA to any extent. This time is different and the emirates thread has me wondering how bad SAA is regarding bags in the cabin.
Anyone have recent experience or knowledge of SAA restrictions?
Has it changed recently? I also need to know if it has changed. Flying to Africa in less than a month on SAA.
In 2011 you were allowed a carryon and a personal item (purse, briefcase, camera bag, etc.)

We had friends who flew with us from Johannesburg to East London on SAA June 2014 each had one carry on and one personal item

Larry SellersChecked a couple of weeks ago with SAA, head dude David at JFK customer service. This straight from him. One carry-on and one personal item. I requested and was granted a third carry on, my VPAP machine, by SAA and it's printed out in their computer for my situation.
Call JFK and hear it straight from them if you like? The number is on the SAA web site.
