There is a Sporting Goods Store in Harare run by 2 Greek brothers. They have a good selection of Courteny boots.
However here is a funny story...
On my Second Safari my Videographer took me to this store.
I tried on a few pair of boots and found a air I liked. The price was $85 US if I remember correctly.
When I tried to give one of the Greeks $85 US he had a Walleyed fit.

He said he could not take any Forex [non Zim money] as he was under investigation for same....
So my Videographer called everybody he knew to see of they had $85 US in Zim Dollars...
No one had that many Zim dollars on hand.
At that time the biggest Zim bill was 20,000 Zim, and 85 dollars US was around 15 Million Zim

.
So I left the store without the boots....
Now that you can use US dollars legally in Zim you should not have a problem...

miketaylorI have been in the brothers shop quite a few times. This was back in 2005. I bought a pair of Courtney Safari boots and a safari shirt all for $100US. Back then they wouldn't take anything but USD.

That is probably what got them in trouble...
The reason I did not get my boots is all your fault...

I did offer them Zim $ but they didn't want it. I think it was because they would have needed one hell of a big safe to hold all the Zim notes

. In 2005 the biggest note was $20,000ZD and i think the boots were on sale at $5000000ZD. I think a bottle of Castle lager back then was just under $20,000ZD.
I am sorry you did not get your boots because of me!!
