Emirates on Sept 24 to Lusaka & Harare

Are any members going to be on the Emirates flight from Dubai to Lusaka & Harare on September 24th? If so, I’d enjoy meeting you.

Guess I’ll likely be the only AR member on this flight. No worries, it’ll be 8 hours and I’ll be back in Africa! And that’s what matters.

That is what Walter does!

He did not want to have lunch, while I did.

They brought the salad first, so he wanted some. Then he took both my olive oil and vinegar and put them in his bag.

The stewardess brought another set. He immediately took them and put those in his bag too. The stewardess laughed, went off and came back with a whole bagful of olive oil and vinegar for him!

When my lunch came, he wanted some .

After lunch they brought some chocolates.

He took his and mine.

The stewardess disappeared again, and came back with another large bag full of chocolates.

So, you’re suggesting I “Be like Walter”? Not quite the same as the “Be like Mike” ad campaign of the past. I’m sure I’ll find the flight attendants quite pleasant, from what I’ve heard. Actually, I’m really looking forward to flying Emirates, as my last two times to Africa I was on British. That was back when they were a better airline, but even then I had gun/ammunition adventures with them on both trips. Besides, my ass still remembers how uncomfortable their seats were on a 747.
