FrostbitTravel through Canada to Africa
Anyone in the USA ever travel through Canada (with a stop in a Canadian city) with a rifle on the way to Africa?
Any further paperwork or other hassle if you have to take possesion of the rifle and recheck it?

FrostbitThanks Jeff,
I will actually have to clear customs because with your favorite carrier British Air it's always safer and they tend to demand that you recheck any firearms with them when transfering from another carrier.
We will be flying Alaska Air to Seatlle then Horizon into Vancourver. so a re-check of all luggage and the tuffpack is the right choice.
I'm hoping a mileage seat opens up for Seattle to Heathrow so I can just change the Vancourver departure but at this point that was the only city departure with tickets.
Cheers
Jim
