jetdrvrI was there during the '87 Eritrean war, but I really like the place. Most fascinating African country I've ever visited and the hardest working people I've ever seen in Africa. The food can be really spicy. Be careful what you eat, but the goat stew was good, IIRC.
Yeah, most of the girls in the Hilton's bar are hookers, but the Ethiopian women can be quite easy on the eyes. The coffee is truly grand.

BNagelI grew up there; born in 1956 and last there in 1975. AIDS is now rampant, don't drink anything unbottled (or unboiled) and take something along for the trots. Otherwise, enjoy! You need yellow fever shots, too.

RVL IIIJim Shockey's show, on Sunday, was from Ethopia. Looked like great hunting, had an American sounding PH. Missed parts of it so I missed alot of the details. Said they were 40 miles from Kenya.

That was Jason Roussos. He was born in Ethiopia. He has An American mother and very famous Greek father, Nassos Roussos, the founder of our company. Jason is getting the SCI International PH of the Year award in Reno this January.
