LoungePass.com
http://www.loungepass.com/For those who do not have a yearly membership in a airline lounge, have you ever used this web site (it's in the UK) to get a lounge pass?
Or is it just easier to buy a day pass when you get to the airport (and you're facing a layover).
I fly only a few times a year and don't think I'd get my money's worth from a full year membership.

Mike O'I haven't tried that service, but I haven't had much luck with day passes either. I tried to by a pass at a Star Alliance lounge in Frankfurt in April and was told they don't offer them. I ran into a similar situation in Taipei a couple of years ago with an airline lounge.
If most lounges offer day passes, perhaps they just didn't like me.

DC RoxbyThe Delta lounge in Frankfurt will do day passes as long as you have a Delta boarding pass.

LHowellI have only used the Premier Club in Johannesburg [JNB] which is a daily fee club. It is only OK. It IS quieter than the general terminal and they do have included internet use, snacks and beverages and they have fairly comfortable seats so if you have a long wait, it may make sense.
Some credit cards [esp Am Ex Platinum] have deals allowing use of some of the airline clubs too.

Bryan ChickMan, the premier club is worth the money if only for the shower facility. We use it both inbound and outbound.
