I couldn’t believe Delta sent a plane to retrieve the stranded passengers but then it’s crew timed out and couldn’t fly them home. Had to send a second plane to finish the job. What a bunch of inept idiots. This is why I refuse to fly Delta.

No, I thank management that was too stupid to send a crew that couldn’t do what they needed to do. Crew and management knew the flight rules but the fools running the show screwed up. Idiocy.

Sadly, this a classic example of modern society.

Management wants high pay, high bonuses, and they do not do their jobs right.

What I find lacking today is SUPERVISION!

Proper supervision.

Where things are taken into consideration before they are put into effect!

No not correct. It’s a FAA and for that matter NTSB ruling so you don’t die because the flight crew fell asleep. Like Saeed said more like poor decision making making from their management.

Kind of by definition a place with scheduled major airline service isn’t remote.

Now if a plane lands on an unimproved airstrip in an emergency 100’s of miles from a city or multiple miles from a road, I’d buy remote.

As to whose fault, probably the system.

It sounds like the crew timed out… why? (Didn’t watch the video- don’t do video links generally- take too much time).
