Johannesburg - At least 200 South African Airways passengers are stranded in Senegal after their SAA 204 flight experienced technical problems, SABC reported on Friday.
The incident occurred on Thursday when the airbus failed to take off from its scheduled stopover in Dakar.
SAA passengers were left stranded and complaining about a lack of clear information from the airline regarding developments.
SABC said the passengers were told there were difficulties with the aircraft, and it had to wait for spares from Johannesburg.
On Friday they were still in Dakar and were told they would spend another day there.

namibiahunterThey were probably waiting for another engine for the plane. They lose those every once in a while, you know.

Bryan ChickDid SAA find accomodations for the passengers? We had to RON at Dulles last April and we were pretty much on our own so far as hotel rooms were concerned.
