Iridium African Card
I have an Iridium African satellite phone card with 142 minutes on it - good until Sept. 14th. As I couldn't get the schedule arranged for a trip this year, I'll not be using it.

I set it up for a friend that was climbing Kilimanjaro last Sept, and he didn't use all of the time.

Does someone else need one between now and Sept 14th? I'm not really looking to sell it, just don't want it to go to waste. Maybe a trade for something interesting, but not even necessary. They are $260.00 for 300 minutes. This one has slightly under half the time left.

Thought I'd post it here for quicker response if someone is leaving soon.

Doesn"t fit my time frame, but where did you buy the card and can you use them with rented phones?

I always buy from Explorer Satellite. Yes, you can use with rented phones, though I have my own phone.

Bwana, I apoligize for tramping on your thread but I have one of the new 9555 phones with 2500 minutes on it good until next summer. Will make someone a hell of a deal on using it. Just need to call me or PM me.

Again sorry but if your time and end date were not the best for someone maybe mine would work.

Doesn't matter. I'm not looking to make money here, just trying to help fellow addicts with a trip convenience.

Just out of curiosity, how the hell did you end up with so many minutes? Did they throw them in when you bought the phone?

No, I bought the phone and just thought I would buy a 3000 minute card. Just did not use them so here I am. I like the new smaller phone though. It is much nicer than the older ones.

Of course, you realize you can re-charge the phone with another 300 minutes and then the urgent need to use these minutes gets pushed back by a year?
