I hope you have the time of your life. IMO you're hunting with a great outfitter, so the odds are you will love every minute of it.

JG,this twice you have been complimentary or supportive of my humble endeavors. Since we are both Texans, if you are ever in the Austin area, give me a shout and we can share an adult beverage or good stories. Thanks again,Jerry Hoover

Carol and I are sitting in Atlanta waiting to board. So far it lookalike the flight will not be full and there may be some room to stretch out and sleep. More to come later. Jerry Hoover

The busy season has started...

If you cannot get Economy Comfort, try Row 44 either A or J. I actually like them better than Economy Comfort.

often wondered how you get those seats in Row 44? When you book flights they are never available no matter how far out you book. What's the secret? Because of this I usually book row 29 on the bulkhead.

For some reason they do not always show up as available. But once you log in they are. I got bumped back to Gold for a while and I couldn't book them until I was back up to Platinum. I don't know if the Medallion level has anything to do with it.

Sometimes it pays to call and speak with an operator. They can look ahead and see what is open.

The trip home was a nightmare. My wife Carol had to sit next to a large man who had some type of upper respiratory problem, the end result being she has come down with a nasty head cold. I had this giant in the seat in front of me and when he reclined the seat and put his 300 plus pounds on it, I lost what little leg room I had. I am 6'1"" and have two titanium knees. Needless to say arriving in Atlanta was a blessing. If I ever go again, I will make reservations far in advance and hopefully get a bulkhead seat or economy comfort. Plan way ahead Eery Hoover
