Been Slow so amateur hour Mannlicher
I built this for my daughter in law, she likes to hunt elk. Mexican mauser, 7mm-08. Checkering by a buddy who is also an amateur/hobbyist.

Normally I’m not a fan of full length stocks but that’s absolutely beautiful. The metal work is outstanding too. The lady will be proud to carry that chasing game for a lifetime. Are you looking to adopt? LOL

I like the work on the trigger guard and the way it flows into the stock. Very nice. Regards, Bill

Well executed! I agree with several other posters... no amateur work there.

That's better stock work than many professionals I have handled! Hell of a lot better than I could ever do. Well done!

Very interesting treatments as well. Definitely a unique rifle.

Could you post some closeup photos of the metalwork (action) area.

K-P, I do not have photos of the action. Not much to see there, surface ground with bases by Kobe I believe. The TG is a 96 swede, hand filed.

JA, one of 2 blanks I have ever bought off ebay. IIRC, about $250, perfectly quarter sawn end to end, perfect layout as you stated. I felt like I hit the jackpot when I got it in hand.

Dang, I was actually working up the nerve to post a few photos of my Mannlicher, but now I'm not so sure as your results would put mine to shame! Excellent work, I'd probably be tempted to leave it out of the stock just to drool at the exquisite inletting.
