George Miller owner of Conetrol passes...
From their website:

Conetrol owner, George Miller, died of heart disease on October 17th, 2015. He had been in declining health for the last few years, finding his daily activities more and more difficult to manage. His business had been at a virtual standstill for the last few weeks.

We, his family, understand the strain this has caused Conetrol's customers and friends. We do intend to keep the business going, and will reopen as soon as possible. Please be patient, bear with us, and give us a chance to address your concerns once we get going. We are truly sorry for this inconvenience.

I never met Mr. Miller, but have his mounts on a favorite rifle. They are elegant and tough. I liked his never-changing ad. Old school, old fashioned. Probably like Mr. Miller. My condolences to his friends and family. Would like to hear some comments about him.

I have a pair also on one of my custom contenders. Not a finer looking ring set up and they are tough. I wish the family well.
