On its way to a Cabelas near me!

It is a nice looking rifle (the one coming to Cabela's), but I'm afraid I wouldn't want it.

An 8-1/4" pound rifle in that chambering with only 13-5/8" LOP? No thanks. I suppose one would get the weight up to about 9-1/4 pounds with the scope added, but that LOP is still at least 3/8" too short for me in a heavy calibre scoped rifle. If I want eye surgery, I'd prefer my opthamologist do it. Roll Eyes

It is a very nice looking rifle, but having shot an original Rigby mauser rifle in .416 Rigby in the middle 1970's, the next bolt action one I shoot will weigh more like 10 pounds all up, with a very close to 14" LOP. I am 6'3" tall with correspondingly long arms, plus I tend to be a stock crawler when shooting a rested rifle in the field.
