The stock looks GREAT Smiler.....What kind of grip cap is that? Why is it so small compared to the wood?

Damn, I think that is mine! You are pretty good Jim. Wood came from TC1. Jim has been a pleasure to work with and he works for his clients. He doesn't just sit around his shop.

You would have to ask Kobe or TC1. I got the wood from TC1.

That's Turkish walnut. It was bought at the same time the wood was aquired for the Searcy Scholarship rifle. It came from Denli Walnut over in Turkey.

The thing that drove me to buy the stock is the variation in color from front to back on this piece of wood. It's just beautiful in my eye's.

Beautiful stock. Fantastic work Jim. Butch, I know you're happy with it.

Nice work and nice piece of wood.
I for one would like to see a picture of it with white or some other neutral background, I think yellow jacks up the color terribly and I don't think the flourescent lighting is doing the wood justice.
Very nice work though.
Lets see more pictures.
